Artist Statement

Drawing inspiration from traditional basket weaving, my paper weavings have evolved into a focus on innovative paper weaving methods and materials, which now form the core of my work.

Current paper weavings are created from my original photographs and further enhanced with non-traditional materials. My art explores themes of color and pattern, movement, optical illusions, and often features specific imagery, reflecting my interest in visual complexity and design.
