Artist Statement

Chicago born and based fiber artist who creates unique 3-D art and paper weavings.

With a BFA in art and an emphasis in Fiber Arts, my evolution into paper weaving began with 2-D objects and sculpture inspired by traditional basket weaving.

Current paper weavings are created from my original photographs and embellished with non-traditional materials. My focus is on color and pattern, movement, optical illusion, and specific imagery.
